Coffee & Coparenting Conversations
In 2027, DAPS With Dads is bringing Coffee & Coparenting Conversations back to Columbus Public Library locations throughout the city. These Saturday gatherings are designed to create a welcoming space where moms, dads, coparents, caregivers, and community members can come together to talk honestly about parenting, family, relationships, and the challenges that come with raising children today.
Each conversation will explore a different topic—from defining roles and boundaries when parents aren’t together, to emotional wellness, Black fatherhood, technology and parenting, blended families, and more. The goal isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to create space where people can share experiences, hear different perspectives, gain practical tools, and grow together.
And because parenting conversations shouldn’t require parents to leave their children behind, kids are welcome. Activities and space will be available for children while parents participate in the conversation.
Coffee, refreshments, connection, and meaningful conversation are all part of the experience.

Dad’s Night Out
Unwind. Recharge. Connect.
Being a dad comes with a lot of responsibility. Between work, parenting, relationships, finances, and everything else life throws our way, sometimes dads need a space to simply be men, build friendships, and recharge.
That’s what Dad’s Night Out is all about.
Beginning in the second quarter of 2027, DAPS With Dads will host these quarterly gatherings specifically for fathers. No workshops. No lectures. No pressure. Just an opportunity to step away from the everyday grind, enjoy some good food and music, play games, compete a little, laugh a lot, and connect with other dads.
But there’s purpose behind the fun, too. Dad’s Night Out creates room for real conversations, encouragement, prayer, and genuine fellowship between men who understand that fatherhood can be rewarding, challenging, exhausting—and sometimes all three at once.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to belong here. Whether you’re married, single, co-parenting, navigating a blended family, or simply trying to become a stronger father, there’s a seat for you.
Because dads pour into everybody else all year long.
